It comes as know surprise that most games involving the Miami Marlins are going to see a total of the norm of 7-8 runs. They send out a lineup that just is not a typical major league franchise caliber team. Tampa Bay just faced a dinged up Yankees team and prevailed over CC Sabathia yesterday after a three game losing streak.

This is the type of game that screams an under play. Miami and Tampa Bay are only separated by 280 miles. On a memorial day you can guarantee lots of the Miami players family members have traveled with them. Look for Jake Odorizzi to settle down in his second start this season for the Rays after allowing five runs in his first start against Toronto, May 20th.

The Marlins have only scored over four runs, four different times in twenty three games in the month of May. Tampa’s bats just came to life and have not been consistent all season as their subpar record shows.

Look for a slow start with the 3:10 Eastern time start.
