Zack breaks down some key positional players to add to your fantasy football teams post week five.

Teddy Bridgewater
The Saints became the latest team to take apart the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense. Teddy Bridgewater made the key quick throws but also finally got the ball down field. 3-0 with Bridgewater in the lineup should increase Coach Payton’s play calling with Bridgewater.

Andy Dalton
Dalton is a quarterback that continues to be dropped in the majority of fantasy football leagues. His value has never been starter worthy but keeping him as a spot starter is justified. Getting on the same page with their new coach has taken some time but don’t be surprised to see Dalton get back to week one’s numbers.

Gardner Minshew

Minshew continues to be one of the best surprises in football this year. His ability to keep the Jaguars alive in games has been a big plus for running back Leonard Fournette. When will the rookie wall come for Minshew? Likely a week or two before Nick Foles is close to coming back.

Running Backs

Kalen Ballage

Miami had a bye week and most certainly will shift their offensive focus. Ballage was a pre-season sleeper but that has not materialized due to the Dolphins being blown out every game. Don’t be surprised to see Ballage’s workload increase significantly this week against Washington.

Chase Edmonds
With David Johnson’s latest setback it has opened the door for Edmonds. Potential owners already saw the explosive capabilities of Edmonds on his touchdown run Sunday. PPR owners certainly could flex Edmonds while standard leagues pick their spots.

Wide Receivers

Dede Westbrook

Many whom drafted Westbrook had released him weeks ago. He was not getting involved in the offense and was dropping the ball too much. His usage is beginning to rise as the Jaguars become more comfortable with Minshew. It’s safe to say DJ Chark’s numbers will not continue and that should benefit Westbrook.

Robby Anderson

The pattern for Anderson has been continuous the past couple of seasons. Missing in action to a top twenty-fantasy receiver to conclude the year. It may take Sam Darnold three to four games but expect Anderson to be his typical self to finish out 2019.

Antonio Callaway

Callaway’s rust in Monday Night football drew sharp negativity from bettors and fans. His mistake on dropping a sure touchdown flipped their loss to the 49ers dramatically. As bad as his play was he will be heavily involved in the Browns spread offense.
